The seminary was founded during Communist times in order to train pastors and Christian workers to pastor the churches that were being started. Originally in Warsaw, it is now based in Bydgoszcz. The Evangelical Bible Seminary exists for the purpose of training lay and vocational Christian workers for service through the local church. It is integral to church-planting efforts, providing pastors for the churches that are being started.
